About Us
The mission of Palouse Prairie Foundation is to promote preservation and restoration of native Palouse Prairie ecosystems.
Founded in 2001 and incorporated in 2004, the Palouse Prairie Foundation promotes public awareness of Prairie endangerment and provides leadership and consultancy in Palouse Prairie restoration efforts. Our field trips educate people about identifying prairie plants and invasive weeds and encourage local seed production and responsible collection. Our publications provide information on growing Prairie plants and managing weeds. We sell native pollinator plants to encourage their use in landscaping and restoration.
